Bargaining Sessions 1 & 2

On October 22nd & 23rd our Bargaining Committee, along with our USW Staff Representative, Charlene Crawford, met with CLP management to present proposals for Non-Economic subjects on both sides. The initial proposals from our Bargaining Committee and from CLP management can be seen on our Bargaining Tracker.
During these two days, we engaged in much useful open dialogue to understand CLP management’s positions and the concerns of the Bargaining Committee as expressed by the membership. We are still in negotiations on these proposals, meaning changes, counterproposals, and revisions are being discussed on both sides, and will continue to be discussed next week, along with any new proposals. CLP management moved towards us on some issues and held on others, and we as a Bargaining Committee did the same. As a reminder, nothing passed or discussed is considered final in any way until you, the membership, vote to ratify the tentative agreements we reach.
A unit meeting is scheduled for Sunday, November 2nd at 6:30 PM at the Friend’s Meeting House with an option to attend virtually. Register for the Zoom here! The Bargaining Committee hopes to see you there and answer any questions you may have.
