Bargaining Session 6

Bargaining Session 6
November 19th, 2025
On November 19th, our Bargaining Committee, along with our USW Staff Representative, Charlene Crawford, met with CLP Management virtually to continue working on Non-Economic subjects of bargaining.
This update may sound similar to our last, but that’s because we’re continuing to pass revised proposals back and forth with Management. We’re being attentive to the small details that will make big differences to our working conditions over time. Big progress was made on flexible meal breaks, LSA job requirements, and protecting our diversity article. Details on where these proposals stand can be seen on our Bargaining Tracker. See our website, ulwclp.org, for ongoing updates.
We continued discussion on items such as discipline, attendance, temporary assignments, and vacancies where management’s current proposals do not align with the stated needs of our membership. As some proposals are changed or withdrawn and others come closer to agreement, we will continue to protect our priorities at the table.
Our next bargaining sessions are scheduled for December 9th, December 10th, and December 11th. In the meantime, we invite you all to attend the December 7th Unit Meeting at the Friends Meeting House for more detailed updates. Please share any thoughts and questions with a CAT member, through Slack, or by emailing unitedlibraryworkers@gmail.com.
In Solidarity,
Your Bargaining Committee
