Bargaining Session 24

March 11
It’s been a long road, but the Bargaining Committee and CLP Management have reached tentative agreements on all of our proposals. Now the work will be passed to you for a vote.
In bargaining session 24, we continued to work on proposals around wage increases, starting rates, and holidays for part time staff. After continued negotiation, we reached agreement on a 6% wage increase for 2026, including retroactive pay. For the duration of the contract, through June 2029, annual wage increases would be 3%. Starting rates would increase across multiple job grades. Paid holidays for part-time staff would increase from 2 to 4. See the tracker for more details.
Over the course of the next two weeks, the Bargaining Committee will host information sessions to share all tentative agreements and answer questions about what would change if the TA is ratified. Sessions will be both in person and on Zoom. More information about these sessions and the voting process will be provided in coming newsletters. We hope to see you all there.
In solidarity,
The Bargaining Committee of USW 9562**
