Bargaining Sessions 3 & 4
On November 5th & 6th our Bargaining Committee, along with our USW Staff Representative, Charlene Crawford, met with CLP Management to continue to work on and respond to proposals for Non-Economic subjects on both sides. The progress on these proposals can be seen on our Bargaining Tracker. See our website, ulwclp.org, for ongoing updates.
Wednesday we spent much of the day in caucus working on responses both to Management’s responses to our proposals last week and to Management’s initial proposals. We found areas where we could agree with Management while in other areas we maintained distinct positions.
Negotiations continued on November 6th over Attendance. Our discussion and debate led to changes in many parts of the article - none of which is set in stone - so it’s important for you to take a close look at the proposals as they stand now. Please share thoughts and questions with a CAT member, through Slack, or by emailing unitedlibraryworkers@gmail.
